Why your gift is invaluable
The Luther Museum tells a unique story. We manage and present the cultural heritage – both tangible and intangible – of the Lutheran community in the Netherlands. Within this community, the church provides religious content and the diaconate handles social projects. The museum is the cultural heart: we preserve historical objects, but above all we research and visualize what it means to be Lutheran, in the past and present. This is how we connect with the broader public.
Although we are fundamentally supported by Lutheran funds, we depend on donations from friends, visitors and foundations for a dynamic program of exhibitions, concerts and education. Your contribution makes the difference.

The Luther Museum has ANBI status (Public Benefit Organization). Your gift is therefore fully tax-deductible. You can give your gift for general purposes, but also specifically earmark it for a program close to your heart, such as:
- Sustainable Lutheran Heritage: Help us preserve fragile archival documents and artworks for the future.
- A Living Program: Support our concert series, such as the biennial Bach Week, the intimate series Music While You Watch or Jazz at The Luther.
- Contemporary Imagination: Make new commissions possible for artists and writers. They provide a contemporary perspective on the heritage, keeping it relevant for new generations.
