During this special concert, you will hear works that were once closely connected to this historic sound world, performed on the original Érard piano from the museum's collection, paired with a violin strung with gut strings.

Program:

  • Schumann/Debussy – 6 Etudes in Canonic Form, Op. 56 (arranged for piano and violin)

  • Debussy – Sonata for Violin and Piano

  • Brahms – Sonata for Piano and Violin No. 1 in G major, Op. 78

Performers:
Nao Takahashi – violin
Haruka Izawa – piano

Let yourself be carried away by the intimate, poetic sounds of this unique program, where historical performance practice and musical expression come together in an atmospheric setting.
